- "Wonder if anybody'd notice if I went AWOL?"
- ―A Soldier’s Thought.
US Army soldiers were encountered by Crypto all across America in Destroy All Humans! and Destroy All Humans! Remake. They represented the might of the United States military-industrial complex, and formed the backbone of its resistance to Furon conquest.
Overview[]
Soldiers represent a step up from the Police, being tougher and better trained. They are commonly deployed in large groups by Army Trucks accompanied by Tanks and, depending on the area, elite Power Suit Soldiers once the Alert Level reaches Orange.
Appearance & Equipment[]
US Army soldiers are typically dressed in khaki battle-dress uniforms, with brown boots and tan helmets.
In the Remake, an additional variant is added. Sergeants serve as unit leaders and drill instructors, wearing khaki dress-uniforms and boots with a campaign hat in place of a helmet.
In the original Destroy All Humans!, all soldiers are solely armed with M1 Garand rifles. However, in the Remake they also wield Thompson submachine guns and sergeants carry revolvers.
FURON HANDBOOK[]
Military Defense Units, or "Army"[]
The human military industrial complex is comprised mainly of youths - - previously supposed to only be interested in movies, milkshakes, and automobiles. Said youths dress in uniform colors apparently difficult for human eyes to see, follow orders from a commander, and shoot primitive weapons when ordered to do so. More research is required to demonstrate whether they may be fooled with a shock of psychedelic colors.
