- "Hail Arkvoodle, hail Shama Llama!"
- ―Shama Llama.
Shama Llama was an American-Indian Bay City hippie who rose to become the leader of The Cult of Arkvoodle.
History[]
When forming the Cult of Arkvoodle, Crypto rescued Shama Llama from the Bay City Police and requested him to become the spiritual manager of the cult, a position which he gladly accepted.
Shama usually gave Crypto his missions for the Arkvoodle Cult and sometimes assisted him. He referred to Crypto as the "Son of Arkvoodle" but Crypto grew to hate him due to his eccentric behavior and egotism.
Shama traveled with Crypto from Bay City to Albion and Takoshima and formed more cults. Twice, Shama requested Crypto's assistance in defending the cult from those who wished to destroy them. Shama informed Crypto that he needed several dozen Alien Artifacts so he could give him the Burrow Beast.
Finally, Shama led Crypto and the other cult members in Takoshima on a chant to summon Arkvoodle and he gave Crypto the Burrow Beast. However, Shama grew too cocky and declared himself as the Leader of the Arkvoodle Cult, ousting Crypto from his position.
Later, when meeting with the Black Ninja Leader, Crypto gladly took up the offer of killing Shama due to the growing differences between their methods and Shama's unchecked ego. The White Ninjas attempted to protect Shama. Even Arkvoodle himself came forth to bless the guru with the same number of lives that Crypto had lost, resurrecting him each time he was struck down. However, when all of his lives were eventually used up, Arkvoodle lost interest in Shama and he and his protectors were killed.
From an article in the Takoshima Newspaper, Shama was going to be replaced with the son of Sleepy Ernst from Destroy All Humans!, who eventually ran the cult into the ground.

Trivia[]
- Shama Llama's original character model is a palette swap of Coyote Bongwater, with added sunglasses.
- While the "boss fight" with Shama Llama is technically the end of the Arkvoodle Cult plotline, it does not count as a Cult of Arkvoodle mission. It is flagged as an odd job.
- During the fight with Shama Llama, only the White Ninjas attack you. Shama runs around the arena, but never attacks.
- It is implied that Shama Llama is faking his accent. This taken further in Reprobed where he is depicted with a Caucasian appearance.
