A US Army Power Suit Soldier.

Power Suit Soldiers were devastating heavy troops. Their mech-suits were one of the many advanced weapons developed by Majestic, and were gifted exclusively to the US Army in Destroy All Humans! and the British Army in Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed.

Overview[]

Power Suit Soldiers made their first appearance in Santa Modesta under the command of General Armquist and battled Crypto near the town’s Radio Towers. After this, Power Suit Soldiers only appeared in Area 42, Union Town, and Capitol City, usually in patrols. Those stationed at Area 42 were also tasked with guarding the outer wall of the Majestic Base.

Appearance and Use[]

Power Suits (1)

The Power-Suits as they appear in the Remake.

Power Suits were dark green bulky robotic suits. In Destroy All Humans!, each unit had two arms tipped with three claws. The torso had a thin, horizontal slit that apparently housed a small spotlight that was never used. The head was quite small, bucket shaped, and featured a red T-shaped visor. The back had a small nuclear battery charge. Each unit was piloted by a specially trained soldier, though their voices were distorted into that of a stereotypical, monotonous robot.

In the original Destroy All Humans!, each Power Suit Soldier had a pair of Sergeant Major insignias emblazoned on their shoulder-plates. However, in the Remake, these were replaced with a pair of Corporal insignias on their arms and one on their right leg.

Weapons[]

The Power Suit possessed three small side-cannons on its forearms, which were the mech's primary means of attacking. Should that fail, or should the enemy got too close, the Power Suit unleashed a stomp attack which knocked away any nearby Human, Crypto, or object. Oddly enough, a stomp attack could even send an airborne Crypto plummeting to the ground.

In the Remake, the Power Suit's cannons can now fire much more rapidly. They no longer possess the stomp attack, instead having shoulder-mounted grenade launchers whose projectiles detonate after a short fuse-time.

Armquist's Power Suit "Freedom Bringer"[]

Armquist Mech

“Freedom Bringer.”

Armquist was shown to posses his own Power Suit, which resembled the standard model save for a few details: The custom suit was silver, had an Army emblem on its chest, and also boasted a missile launcher which could instantly kill Crypto with a direct hit. The mech was ultimately reduced to scrap following Armquist's defeat in Union Town.

Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed[]

Power Suit Soldiers did not appear in the original Destroy All Humans! 2. However, in promotional images for Reprobed, they were seen fighting Crypto on the streets of Albion.

This implies that the British division of Majestic, known as MI6, had also developed Power Suits for use in the British Army.

Soviet Powersuit (Tunguska)

The USSR varient.

The Soviets also possess their own power suits as well, deployed at Tunguska and at Solaris.

It is likely they were retro-engineered from the U.S. model in the decade since they were first deployed, as part of the arms race.

Quotes[]

Note: Power Suit Soldiers only speak in the original Destroy All Humans!

“AREA SECURE. NOTHING TO REPORT.”

“SHOW YOURSELF AND I WILL BE MERCIFUL… OR NOT!”
