Pistols are a common Human weapon in the Destroy All Humans! series.

In the original Destroy All Humans!, Pistols are exclusively wielded by Cops, who appear to use M1911 handguns.
In the Remake, however, several enemies now wield Pistols in combat. Early Majestic agents use powerful variants, only wielding their iconic Energy Weapons during the later stages of Crypto’s invasion. Newly-introduced US Army sergeants also carry revolvers.
Destroy All Humans! 2[]
In Destroy All Humans! 2, Pistols are more widespread in their use. KGB agents, Police forces, Army sergeants and MI6 agents all wield various Pistols in combat, with the latter using powerful “golden guns.”
