The Martian War was a devastating war between the Blisk and the Furons. The end of the war resulted in Mars being turned into a desert by dangerous Furon Weapons, which later cost the Furons their genitalia and the near extinction of the Blisk. That war was thought to be ancient and occurred long before Humans first appeared on Earth. According to Orthopox, some of the victorious Furons celebrated by going to prehistoric Earth and copulating with cavewomen, or as Pox put it "sailors on liberty", prior to the aftereffects of the biological warfare causing the loss of their reproductive organs. Orthopox briefed Crypto-137 in that Furon society instead now reproduces through cloning to survive, but the Furon DNA is becoming increasingly degraded. Pox orders Crypto to harvest pure Furon DNA which is locked deep in the human's genetic code in order to save the Furon race.
