A Furon Probe in Destroy All Humans! Remake.
Probes are robotic Furon devices that are hidden throughout each invasion site in Destroy All Humans! and its Remake.
Overview[]
Furon Probe Drones are automated multipurpose robotic drones, which can be used for DNA Harvesting, reconnaissance, maintenance and repair.
Destroy All Humans!/Destroy All Humans! Remake[]
During Destroy All Humans! and Destroy All Humans! Remake these Probe Drones were send out by the Furon Mothership to scout ahead and collect DNA from the locals to see if the Furon DNA within the brainstem is still viable. However, due to hard-coded factory default the Probe Drones could not initiate the automated return sequence to the Mothership, leaving them stranded on Earth.
After landing on Earth, Crypto is tasked by Pox with recovering a large number of missing Probes that had been sent to the planet before his arrival. Each device is worth 75 DNA (100 in the Remake).
Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed[]
During Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed, before Monthership was destroyed Pox was able jettisoned to several Repair Pods containing Probe Drones, which crash-landed in Bay City. However, the destruction of the Mothership damaged Crypto’s Saucer and it would not able to fly futher until the Saucer’s Engines are repair. Fortunate, the Repair Pods that Pox jettisoned crash-landed nearby and Crypto reclaimed them before US Military could salvage them. One of the Probe Drones was also use by Pox to repair Crypto's Weapons after Crypto escape captivity from the M16 Base.
