Eddie was a resident of Albion and the husband of Irene.
Eddie was a victim of a Ruin Lives Mission: Crypto, disguised as a female hippie, consulted a disturbed Eddie. Through the conversation, Crypto learned that Eddie's wive's friend, Liz, just had a sex change operation and called herself Liam. Even though Eddie claimed to find the idea disgusting, Crypto, by reading his mind, discovered that Eddie secretly wanted to have a sex change as well. Crypto then Body Snatched Eddie, made him call his wife, Irene, told her that he wanted to have the sex change operation, and had already begun hormone therapy. Astounded, Irene then demanded Eddie to meet her and talk to her about that. Crypto, still disguised, met up with Irene and arrogantly condemned her to a life of suffering with Eddie. A newspaper then claimed that after the confrontation, Irene left Eddie.
