A Datacore were dense, orange, triangular devices that were used to store Furon Technology.
Overview[]
Datacores are data storage devices that were used to store anything ranging from weapons to Furon technology to music. Datacores were sturdy enough to survive atmospheric entry, as they landed on Earth after the Furon Mothership was destroyed. 17 Datacores were scattered all over various Locations, and were recovered by Crypto 138 due to the fact that almost all of them contained weapons.
Gastro even used one to shelter his record collection. One of those Datacores contained information on the Blisk, whiich unlocked more upgrades to Crypto's Weapons and increased their effectiveness against the Blisk.
In Destroy All Humans! 2, Datacores were collected during or after certain missions as a reward. In other instances, they had to be found by scouting Invasion Sites.
