Cosmonauts were Russian astronauts who were sent to Solaris to help the Blisk.
History[]
Cosmonauts were Scientists and KGB Agents who were tasked with going to the Moon to help the Blisk. They did not know that the Blisk, in fact, planned to take over Earth with Blisk spores until Crypto (disguised as Leonid) convinced them with a speech and destroyed their alliance.
The Blisk then breached the moon-base and a massive battle broke out, which destroyed the main dome. From that point on, armed Cosmonauts began attacking the Blisk on sight.
After the Blisk were destroyed by Crypto, an unnamed Cosmonaut tasked the Furon with destroying the rest of their kind on the Moon. After that, the Cosmonauts contacted Russia for help to get back to Earth. It is unknown if their plea was ever answered.

Amongst the denizens of Solaris, there were two different kinds of Cosmonaut:
Green or White Spacesuit: Russian Scientists who studied the Moon and ran away from Crypto and the Blisk.
Orange Spacesuit: Combat-trained KGB Cosmonauts who protected Solaris from either the Blisk or Crypto. They replaced both the Police and Army forces that were typically encountered by Crypto on Earth.
Equipment[]
KGB Cosmonauts in orange spacesuits were often armed with a weapon that resembled the Energy Rifles wielded by Majestic agents. It shot an orange-tinged energy blast, which did more damage to Crypto than most other weapons. Others were known to wield compact laser rifles and rocket launchers in combat.
Just like the military on Earth, KGB Cosmonauts also utilised Tanks and Army Transports to defend themselves.
