Concentration showed Crypto how much psychic energy that he had left. If he ran out, Crypto was not be able to use Brain Extract, Holobob, PK, or Hypnotize. The only way for him to recharge his Concentration was either to wait for it to replenish itself or to Scan someone’s mind.
