Defense Shields were protective devices used by Blisk Warriors to shield themselves in combat.

Defense Shields surrounded each Blisk Warrior in a faint, green orb, which materialised whenever they were hit. They were extremely resistant to most weapons in Crypto’s arsenal, although they could be temporarily disabled by his Zap-O-Matic.
The Defense Shields used by Albino Blisk were known to be even more potent.
