The Military, or Army, were one of Crypto's most powerful opponents, serving as the defenders of each nation on Earth. Their exact equipment varied depending on their country of origin, or the decade in which they were fought. Nevertheless, they were always a solid threat to the Furon invader.
Destroy All Humans![]
In Destroy All Humans!, Crypto faced off primarily against the forces of the United States Army lead by General Richard “Dick” Armquist. He also matched wits with General Jack Hicks of the United States Air Force, an unnamed Admiral of the United States Navy, and an unnamed Marines General who made up the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They can be encountered in all areas during an Orange Alert Level.
The backbone of their might are the humble US Army Soldiers, transported by Army Trucks in squads of six. Tanks provide heavy backup to the weaker infantry and prove a fair threat with heavy armor, explosive shells and rapid-fire machine guns. But their greatest weapon is that of their Power Suit Soldiers, mechanized infantry capable of spewing lead and lasers at their target while taking a great deal of punishment to destroy.
Destroy All Humans! 2[]
In Destroy All Humans! 2, a wider variety of militaries were faced. Almost every Invasion Site had its own defenders;
- The United States Army in Bay City
- The British Army in Albion
- The Japanese Army in Takoshima
- The Red Army in Tunguska
Each had their own unique soldiers and Tanks, with the added addition of APCs for transporting troops and SAM Launchers for attacking the Saucer. Additionally, the Takoshima Defense Force and the Red Army possessed Maser Tanks, unique laser-firing tanks that could do devastating damage to Crypto.
