The Area 42 Airfield in the Remake.
The Area 42 Airfield was a functional airfield located in Area 42 until it was destroyed by Crypto with an atomic bomb.
Overview[]
Utilizing the Airfield, the US Military, led by General Jack Higgs, attempted to build a Saucer-like craft of their own that was capable of flight. Such an invention posed a large threat to the Furon Empire, because if the technology worked, it would only be a matter of time until they foiled Crypto's plans.
The Airfield itself consisted of a large runway dotted with military planes and several aircraft hangers. The hangers could be entered by Crypto, and one even contained the robotic foot of Robo-Prez.

- Many test flights are conducted from the real-life Area 51, and have been occurring since the 1960's.
